Perth is like many Australian cities, except for one standout feature - Kings Park. Situated on a mountain close to the CBD, overlooking the junction of the Swan and Canning rivers, it provides a picturesque outlook on Perth. The lawns are green and well manicured, there are plenty of shady picnic spots, and enough historic sites to keep anyone happy.... More

Went early in morning and enjoyed the stunning view of the memorial left car their and travelled with the Cat around the central city of Perth. Saw a large amounts of indeginous trees and shrubs. Climped the Dna tower and was in the park for four hours. Watch out for cyclist as this area are their practise place.

This is a very interesting park. Things that we did in Kings Park: 1. Walk along the trekking trails and you will discover each tree planted is dedicated to a soldier that died in the great war. It describes where they died, age and location of death. Planted by a mother, sister or their spouses. 2. Do go on the... More

These gardens are beautifully kept garden beds and lawns. There is an area of native wildflowers unique to WA. There is a cafe in the middle of the gardens. The gardens are accessible to everybody. It is a wonderful place for children to play.

the gardens are top class, acres and acres of lush green lawn and beautiful walkways, all signposted, lots of flora and fauna and respect for the Noongar heritage throughout the park.

An oasis in urban city area, you can see the trains running across the city, and the high ways, airplanes, together with such beautiful trees and plants... you feel you are already in heaven! Free parking too.

This is one of the most stunning views over a city that you will find anywhere in the world. The glass bridge is interesting, and the walking paths are very well laid out. This is a great place to observe what Perth is about.
