I was visited this park on my first day trip to Perth. The weather was around 22^celc at that time. A lot of families were there for a picnic and walking around the park. The view from the park were beautiful where one was the city view and the other was a sea view. My children love it there.

Walked up the 'Kokoda track memorial' to the gardens and admired the view. Lovely park, popular bit not overcrowded when we visited.

A place for you to overlook the city during sunset or at night time and great outdoors for everybody. Its free entry and you may get a chance to learn a few species of plants. This area of this park is quite big and you may enjoy your time to take pictures here. I really enjoy my time here, spent... More

Kings Park is a great low key place to visit that is free but has many aspects to offer that would appeal to both children and adults alike. I love the variety of native plants that are on display, the water gardens and the tree top walk. I took my 5 year old to see all of these things and... More

If you're in Perth, this is a must on the to do list. There are plenty of walks with great viewing spots over the swan river and the Perth city skyline.
