The gardens and the views of the city/river are lovely. Because many of the plants/trees are from desert environments the gardens are not as colourful/showy as other botanical gardens but they are well displayed. The 935 bus (but not all of them) is the only way to get to the gardens - it's free but, based on our experience, the... More

Stunning view, what a relaxing park. Love to walk around and take a picture. There's a walkway to explore the place if you can!

Whether it is the city views or the bush land, there is something for everyone at Kings Park. Cafe's, Kiosk, Gift Shop and walks of choice. Overlooking the Swan River, makes it a great place for photography both at day and night.

Walked around the park through the day, really large park and such much to see. Lovely view of the city feom here. View points around for photographs. Lots of different variites of birds to see. Lovely glass bridge to walk across. We went back at the night time as there was a light projection show onto the trees and a... More

Kings Park is worth of several visits to see the changing seasons. There is plenty of hidden spots and areas for bbq's, family gatherings etc. The outdoor movies are a fantastic additional. The only downside is the lack of parking during concerts, but if you are prepared there is plenty of public transport options. Great views of Perth.

Well laid out park but you need a lot of time to see it all. The views from the overhead walkway were very good although a bit breezy as it was in the afternoon when the wind picks up on the Swan river. We toured some of the park on the hop on/off bus which gave us a good feel... More

I love Kings Park. I am a Perth Girl and whenever we revisit we always spend time here. This park is huge and you have such an enormous range of things to do it is really up to you how you use the space. There are wonderful sensory playgrounds scattered around. There is the restaurant, the cafe, the amazing shop,... More

You simply can't visit Perth without visiting King's Park. Many different areas to enjoy a walk, a read or sports. Impressive views of Perth, specially in the sunset/sunrise and at night. If you have the chance, check the "music and light" performance at the PIAF festival, around mid February: it's spectacular!
