I stumbled on Queens Gardens when I was meeting a friend nearby. This is a very pleasant garden with ornamental lakes and lush lawns. If you are anywhere nearby its worth nipping over to it, even just for a brief walk around the pathways. Definitely a good location for a picnic and there were certainly photo opportunities, with a wedding... More

I made use of the free CAT bus to travel around and hopped off to have a look at the park. It's very well maintained and I had a bit of a giggle when a very cute little bird which enormous webbed feet compared to its body came charging over the grass toward me to say hello :)

Beautifully kept gardens, good variety of flowers and shrubs, azaleas very colourful at present. Large lake with lots of ducks, baby chicks, swans and signets. Nice place to sit and relax or walk around lake on well paved paths.

With expansive grounds, an interesting range of flora, and ornamental lakes with resident water birds, this park is a real discovery, away from the bustle of the city. A shortish walk down Hay St, it is really worth while just sitting and contemplating quietly and enjoying the ambience(although maybe not as much if cricket is on at the nearby WACA

I stumbled across these as I was heading to my hotel, what a beautiful hidden garden. Very well maintained, accessible by public transport, if you can't make it to Kings Park make this one on your list.

We went into the gardens because there some black swans in residence and they seemed fairly used to people so we manged to get some pictures. The Gardens are well kept and there are seats where you can just sit and take it all in.

Queens Park is very close to me and now that it's spring here in Perth it really is looking very pretty. A lot of history with this park - apparently was originally used for its clay many years ago. Check out the Peter Pan Statue and of course all the bird wildlife. A well kept park with a peaceful feel... More

It's a small but well maintained park in central Perth. A sunny day and sitting by the pond is lovely. There are many different birds, lovely flowers. Sitting in the gras or on the wellknow bench is enjoyable Please see my pictures.
