There are a lot of things to see and do in this park and this is one of them. The area is a nocturnal gray amphitheatre and the "geyser" fountain that comes on now and again is quite brilliant! It is a great spot to sit and reflect and to have a picnic.

Very touching. Many walkway stones have engravings for women's organization, clubs, etc. There are so many -- quite astonishing. Also, some statues here and there add to the walking experience on this theme.

Kids especially liked their area since the fountain that is part of the memorial will periodically shoot very high in the air. If there is a nice breeze then whoever is standing along the edge will get soaking wet. Nice memorial to women - with many local organizations having plaques in the sidewalk.

This area is just a few minutes walk friom the War Memrial in King's Park. A great spot for a picnic. The fountain is superb. This area also serves as a natural amphitheater in the summer months for concerts.

Many occasions over many years we have used the Womens Memorial gardens space. It is large and even with lots of shade.

Bring a picnic and relax on the grass. The kiosk sells basic food and drinks. Plenty of room for children to run and play.

This was a lovely part of the Gardens and an interesting story was told to me by a volunteer guide. To raise funds to build this memorial every woman's organisation in the region was asked to ask their members to contribute one shilling to the fund. These organisations have their names on the Path which follows around the Memorial. I... More

Beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Have been on a few occasions, sometimes little duck families are there. Lovely place to sit and read, picnic or just wonder.
