A beautiful place to pay your respects to our fallen servicemen and women

I loved the position of the War Memorial looking out over the water. It was a place of contemplation and tranquility.

This war memorial is located within Kings Park, so it is easily accessible. Though not very big like the one in Canberra, it is nevertheless well built as a solemn reminder of the many brave souls who have sacrificed their lives. The views over Perth are also excellent and the garden setting is serene, tranquil and beautiful. Good to also... More

So many names on the walls from all the young people that did not return. Let's remember them. It is easy to walk past this memorial that is just along the footpath. Just above it is the huge cenotaph where people like to lounge on the steps, go below and read the name, see that multiple family members did not... More

Great photo opportunity. Walk around and read the names of the fallen. Get a sense of the history associated with this simple but respectful place.

This tranquil setting overlooks the City of Perth. Quiet, peaceful and respectful, full of dedication to the fallen. A great place to get to understand Australian heritage. Nearby is the coffee shop, Botanica, where you can sit and reflect.

Best seen at night when the eternal flame has the city lights in the background.. The lights up the trees looks good too. I've been during the day and early evening and do have to say the evening is better.

Situated in the Kings Park Gardens, which are beautiful with amazing views, very clean and tidy, Great place to spend a day just wandering or taking a picnic. The Memorial very well maintained, a very moving place.
