It is a nice place to have a walk and take photos. A recommended place to spend some spare time there to relax or do excercise

As I am not familiar with the area I needed to look at a map to get to the Swan River. Starting at Swanbourne I went clockwise around the Swan River (really wide like a lake) on my bike. I was reading you get the...More

The river is very wide in places and feels more like a lake or sea. Beautiful walking and running paths along its banks. Worth checking out.

We were on an organised trip from Perth to Fremantle and decided to exchange our tickets for a river cruise back to Perth up the Swan River. We were so pleased we went for that option as the scenery was beautiful. The boat was extremely...More

I like to walk from south Perth to the city over the bridge. Nice and flat and good for a bike ride or a stroll.

This is a stunning river in Perth which takes around 2 hours to walk around and so much to see from yachts to wildlife.

It’s so very pretty and serene. I loved sitting at the quay, at the jetty and again on a ferry ride and I loved the beautiful calm blue from every aspect

We walked and walked and walked, it never ends. You can see all most everything from shore. My opinion.... It's not worth it the boat tour, too expensive and it doesn't get anything more back to you then walking

Hi fisherman- sorry I didn't reply quickly. Yes, plenty of fishing spots all along the river. I'm not sure about restrictions but I think the new developments wouldn't encourage fishing- but that would be in the city's... More
