A beautiful little church well worth a visit if you're heading up Cape Leveque. Not much else nearby though until you get to the next community.

What a treasure. The church is immaculate, the decorations in pearl shells are amazing. The priest was lovely and happy to greet visitors when passing through on a Sunday morning. Off the main road, but worth a visit, has a visitors toilet nearby.

We visited this little church en route to Horizontal Falls. It has a very interesting history and is situated in a delightful little remote community called Beagle Bay.

This small church is a Catholic cathedral and goes back to 1887. It is open daily for worship and to have a look. It is simply built on the outside but well built on the inside.
