The three of us took our little hire car to the edge of the sealed road, parked up and decided to walk the rest of the way to the point. It was blowing a gale but that didn't matter a jot, the weather was warm and even when it started to rain a little we still didn't mind. I would... More

The dinosaur prints are remarkable out here on the isolated NW coast of Australia and definitely worth the visit. I took the town bus then walked back into Cable Beach along the water's edge. This was more difficult than I had anticipated partly because of the head wind and partly because the sand was soft and my feet sank with... More

A wonderful vantage point to view the shoreline from. On this visit, a dear friend who passed recently had his ashes tossed into the winds to be carried away by the next high tide. There is a special spiritual feeling about the area, with all its colourful rock formations. RIP MJ.

Whilst we were in Broome, the tides didn't work for us to see the dinosaurs footprints but we decided to go here anyway to see Anastasias pool........we never found it! There were three other couples looking for it too and in the end in the heat we gave up. Amazing rocks to see and beautiful views out to sea along... More

Gantheaume point is definitely worth visiting - the rocks here are very interesting to look at, and the view is great. The road there is a bit rough in 2WD, but is only a few hundred metres.

The place is badly or not at all sign posted. We couldn´find a trace and wandering around climbing over cliffs, boulders and at the time when the low tide was in with 1,6m ( well below the level needed ), was not rewarded. On the way back met a local Family and asked about the sight and were told they... More

Wow -- this place is just gorgeous. The red cliffs are so, so red, and the turquoise water is so, so blue -- there are yellow flowers with green leaves that grow on the edge. It's worth a couple minutes to wander along the water's edge and drink in the beauty.
