I took my six year-old granddaughter to see the camels and have morning tea. I wanted to find a venue suitable for a group of seniors. The area for Mountain Bike Riding was busy and seemed very popular. We wandered down the path towards the camels but stopped at a 'No Entry" sign; the camels gazed wistfully at us and... More

A number of great mountain biking trails lead off from the camel farm including a beginners practice loop. The hiking, Bibbulmun Track also passes through the area. The cafe at Calamunda Camel farm serves a good long black coffee at $5.00, however, considering the mountain bike trails are free and so is the parking at the farm, its worth the... More

We are training for a long hike. We parked at the Camel Farm and took off on the Bibbluman track which runs past the Camel Farm. When we returned the manager, Chris had just taken fresh scones out of the oven. We couldn't resist and delighted in fresh scones with jam and cream and fresh strong coffee while enjoying the... Had a wonderful informative ride into the West Aus bush with the lovely and very knowledgeable Rebecca. She is worth her weight in gold! After an amazing ride on the Camel's who all seemed to have such fascinating personalities and temperaments we had a nice afternoon tea in the cafe. Definitely worth a visit and a ride. I was on... Went to the cafe. Not sure how to take up 100 characters about scones and a milkshake, but here goes: amazing, awesome, fantastic, worth the trip out!

We went on the 1 hour camel ride through the bush over part of the Bibbulum track. Seeing the bush was nice, and being on a camel was a bit of a novelty as it's years since I've ridden a camel. But the saddles were very uncomfortable; not the traditional camel saddles but more idiotproof 'seats'. Our guide was obviously... More

We've done the 1-hour camel trek twice now and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. We particularly enjoyed the guide we had the second time, Steve, as he was extremely knowledgeable about camels and Australian plant life. If you've never ridden camels, it's really worth experience. It's a beautiful environment and the camels are very tame (and, no, they don't smell... More

Bit confusing, this - the farm calls itself Calamunnda, but it is in Kalamunda. We came across the farm looking for somewhere to do a gentle walk along a bit of the Bibbulman Trail - its car park is next to the farm. There is a simple, pleasant cafe overlooking the farm; three camels were mounted, and ready to go;... More
