Princes Park runs from Sydney Road, one of Melbourne's most active shopping strips, down towards the University of Melbourne. If you follow Sydney Road north far enough, you will eventually end up in Sydney. Tree-lined Royal Parade is one of Melbourne's finest boulevards, and it...More

Don't go out of your way to get to this park unless you want to have a space for the kids to run around. It's a great place to sit, ride a bike through or have a picnic.

I love this place. Nice park, great for a run, barbecue, catch up with friends, or just chill and enjoy the sun.

There may be multiple sets, but I recall the ones near the tennis courts off Princes Park Drive at MacPherson Street, just South of the Ikon Oval. There is a children's playground as well, seats and shade.
