A short walk from Victoria’s Parliament House and are overlooked by the old Treasury buildings, and State Offices. They create a landscaped setting for office workers to enjoy during lunch with large areas of lawn and walking paths lined with mature trees. Great on a...More

This is another serene haven in the city. You can wander through the landscaped garden. There is a memorial to President John F Kennedy by the fountain/pond. If you go back in the evening you may spot a Possum.

Beautiful gardens located next to the Old Treasury Building. It’s a great place to take photos and relax. Would recommend here for photos, wedding photos, picnics or a nice walk.

We strolled through these lovely gardens on a hot, humid summer day and appreciated the benches shaded by tall shade trees and the lack of tourist hordes. The many trees include Dutch Elms, which hold a special place in my heart. They were very much...More

We walked through and around on our way to & back from the MCG. Loved the gardens. Loved the picnicking taking place and the ones having wedding photos taken.

Treasury Gardens are a beautiful spot where you can go to just relax. We walked through and sat down for a while in amongst the trees and the beautiful flowers. There are also some lovely ponds with birds and other life. Worth visiting.

A lovely spot to rest by the pond after walking up or down Spring St. Great view of the Treasury Buildings.

A great place to eat lunch whether it is on a break from work or a picnic. There are flowers, trees, plenty of grass, ponds (with ducks), and the JFK memorial. There are public toilets as well.

Next to the Old Treasury Building. Not large gardens but had some nice plantings, some nice fountains and large trees. Benches available for those needing a rest.

It is likely that it is a Flame Tree - however it would be easier to identify with a picture.
