What an amazing find in the centre of Melbourne. Taking you back in time to the grandeur of yesteryear. Magnificent floors, skylights, architecture complete with a very knowledgeable concierge. Such a treasure, wonderful photo opportunities. Very informative wall charts and the model puts it into...More

This is a beautiful building, the interior is amazing. It reminds me of the lovely places in Europe. It's worth a walk through the foyer, espcially at Christmas when the big tree is up and they have decorated the front of the building - stunning!...More

One of Melbourne's special buildings, an architectural icon but unfortunately one of the few remaining. In my younger days, I used to admire these blocks of Collins Street where there several buildings like this; typically they were bank chambers and all were beautifully constructed with...More

This is a gem we only discovered after a tip-off from a friend, and what an amazing interior! It carries one back to some of the grand interiors in Europe. The street front suggests and interior of some style, but nothing like what is actually...More

333 Collins Street is a Banking Chamber, found in the heart of Melbourne City Centre. Although it looks like most other buildings in the city centre from the outside, it has the most exquisite foyer that I've ever seen. Absolutely picturesque. One cannot help but...More

This is a lovely place to walk through on your way to other places in Melbourne. The architecture is amazing, and it's a nice place to sit as well. If you're into architecture add this to your list of melbourne must-see's.

We walked through this building on our way to the Immigration Museum. We also sat for a bit in the lobby to take in the beautifully designed interior. They have scale models of the building to look at it a little more closely in the...More

Modern classical building which is a joy to view and study. Old Banking chamber is the place to get married.

333 Collins is a great example of craftsmanship from the days when builders worked with their hands. The building materials are sumptuous. 333 Collins Street may be a bit overlooked, but it's worth having a look see if you are going past.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
