I always enjoy coming to Lygon Street. The great vibe and many fantastic restaurants make this destination a must. The only downside is finding a car park, sometimes it can take a while. I highly recommend this part of Melbourne.

Wonderful experience to browse thru a diverse range of culinary delights from the orient to the west and middle eastern cuisine. Be prepared to be co-coerced by charming and perhaps sometimes over zealous restaurateurs welcoming you to dine in. Friendly and safe street atmosphere.

Use a tram to get there, cheap hearty food, but go early to get the best treatment. Well worth the effort.

We visit restaurants in Lygon St regularly. We usually try different venues and all in this area are good eating places with a good atmosphere.

Lygon St is always busy - the central attraction these days is Brunetti's - a honey pot classic Italian Coffee Bar that is the size of a medium department store. My favourite place in this Carlton strip of Lygon St is the Nova Arthouse Cinema,...More

city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
