Flinders Street Station is Melbourne's main railway station. It's Victorian styled structured architecture stands out in what makes it even more famous. Very nearly resembling the Victoria terminus (now CSMT) in Mumbai, legend has it that the designs of both these stations got mixed up,...More

There is a pleasant period entrance facade in which the famous clocks are housed but little else besides. The interior is simply a routine everdaybrailway station.

Pretty much any train will stop at Flinders. Part of the free tram zone as well. Right beside Federation Square and the Princes Bridge. Lots of food and shopping options in and around

This appears to be the train terminal in the city centre for metro trains. Nearby is Flinders street, federation square, Yarra river, St Paul's cathedral etc. Lots of cafes, restaurants, shops outside the station and also inside the building.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
