Good city garden

This is a beautiful greenlung in a city space. Nice walking paths and some interesting features. Well maintained park. Good for a lunchtime break or a morning stroll.

A lovely little garden near Parliament House, with a very impressive fountain. Great grassy area with flower beds, and views of some of Melbourne's more historic buildings.

A great garden, kind of hidden from main Melbourne CBD area. The fountain is upside down artwork. This park gives a good perspective of the city skyline with some lovely old buildings sitting in the foreground. Worth a stop.

This triangular area is not large as some other nearby gardens however being in such a central area it is a real asset. It is well maintained and there is a water feature and a fountain. Also Parliament Railway Station can be accessed from the park. There are actually small garden on both sides of the Parliament building.

The gardens were well maintained with beautiful flowers. There was a horseshoe shaped water feature that you could walk into to take a picture - or get wet. They had a statue for one of the local aborigine business couples. Lovely gardens.

This is a pleasant garden area although not the best of many in Melbourne but we should be thankful that this green area has been retained. A small and interesting section is the small triangle at the corner of Spring and MacArthur Streets known as Gordon Reserve that has the interesting Stanford Fountain built in 1874. Because it is on... More

Cute gardens beside the Victorian parliament. Lovely spot to relax on a nice day. Nice retro fountain. Good garden plantings here too. Great spot to temporarily escape the city intensity.

Seriously nice gardens on the edges of Melbourne. Sure on the weekend you have to dodge a few hundred wedding photo sessions but its always fun to photobomb those. Lots of possums at night if you're into that sort of thing and very late in the evening you can even go running from the people hassling you for money. During... More

There are numerous parks in the city, I often find this one to quieter than the others. It's quite peaceful next to Parliament house and near the cathedral.
