I love this little theatre. It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busy CBD, and you won’t know it’s there unless you go looking for it! I always go on Monday afternoons when the tickets are cheap and it’s even more quiet!...More

My wife and I stayed overnight in the city, and wanted to go to the cinema to see one of the latest movies. We came across Kino Cinema while Googling where the movie was playing. It's at the top end of Melbourne in Collins Street,...More

This is the only cinema theater I’ve visited so far in Melbourne, so I’m not comparing it to other Australian theaters. It’s neat and spacious enough. Not the fanciest cinema nor the biggest screen I’ve seen but it’s nice and cozy. We went on a...More

Stopped in at Kino Cinemas last weekend to watch a movie and really glad I decided on the Kino cinema. The cinema is ideally located in Collins St close to where I was staying in the theatre district. Although located in a modern mixed use...More

Without a doubt my favourite cinema. Sometimes the cinemas are a bit packed due to smaller size than multiplexes but I love this cinema nevertheless. Visit on Monday for cheap movies. TIP: pop into 7Eleven on Collins St for supplies

Over the Christmas and new year holidays we have been to see several films in the cinema at 101 Collins street . The cinema theatres are always immaculately clean, the seats are comfortable and the films start on time . I love being able to...More

This is my second time watching a movie here and will probably come back more often . Kino is located in the business end of city and perhaps that's why it attracts an older more mature or professional crowd. There's no problem of having to...More

Great cinema without the charm of some of the old style theatres like the Orpheum in Sydney - it does though have wonderful movies, always something of interest to watch unlike the majority of multiplexes. Excellent location at the top end of Collins Street

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
