Enjoyed a couple pints of Hargreaves Hill plus a sensational parmigiana. Lovely historic pub with a nice atmosphere. Seating inside and out plus fun trivia on Tuesday evenings. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

If you’re in Melbourne and looking for an authentic British pub head to the Mitre Tavern. Outside of being unable to buy cask ale everything else (including the staff) is terrific.

The tavern began operating as a pub in 1868, making it one of the older pubs in Melbourne. Service was efficient, albeit a little brusque. The history and age of the pub is fantastic
