A reasonable selection of different beers and fairly popular spot even on a Thursday night. Probably wouldn't have gone in if we hadn't been with a local friend.

This tavern has a unique location and the concept is appealing. Our visit, however, lasted less than 5 minutes, as the reception was so rude. There was one other person in the premises at the time, but apparently giving us a civil reception was beyond...More

The Charles Dickens is a great little pub. Really friendly and warm, great for sports fans. Very nice food. Quite reasonably priced for an inner pub. Worth a visit.

Warm welcome, cold beer Unfortunately so we're the vegetables and the Yorkshire pudding was abysmal. Great service and sharp knife. "There are books of which the backs and covers are by far the best parts." Charles Dickens
