Very pleasant park on the edge of the city. A few interesting things like Captains Cook's cottage but for the most part it is a very well maintained green space that is very good to walk through and sit in.

Beautiful to stroll through at any time of year. Well maintained, wide paths suitable for wheelchairs. Something for everyone. Highly recommended.

If you are passing, it is a good idea to take a break and jump in. But it is nothing compared to the Botanic Garden, which is a must.

The kids enjoyed running around like loons and kicking the footy around. We visited Cook's Cottage in the gardens as well. Later that evening we saw possums in the gardens.

Lovely and scenic. Nice to walk around and take in the history. Cafe was very good considering how small it was.

It’s a lovely walk through the Fitzroy Gardens and Captain Cook’s cottage, the miniature Tudor village and conservatory are well worth a visit.

Take the time to stroll around this haven in the city. The greenhouse and captain cook's cottage are also worth visiting even if it an oddity that the cottage is in Melbourne and cook had nothing to do with the city (very Australian !!).

Very beautiful and extremely well maintained. There's a small village garden inside the Fitzroy Garden. There's Cooks cottage as well inside the garden. Very scenic and calm!
