Another small museum, but with a great group of enthusiastic volunteers. Well worth seeking out. Huge amount of exhibits in here, interesting for all.

this museum is run by volunteers, who do an amazing job. Every Friday they have demonstrations for local schools and we were priviliged to be able to attend one of these. a fascinating museum that tells the history of Melbournes Fire Services

Apart from the collection of old fire appliances they have a fantastic collection of helmets and insurance broker plaques. There are some interesting uniforms from both Melbourne/country Victoria and overseas. There are also lots of other pieces such as breathing apparatus and various fire extinguishers....More

We were taken around by a volunteer ex fireman John, very informative. Loved looking at the old vehicles, helmets etc, not to mention the communications systems upstairs. Would've loved to have been able to go into the tower which is off limits as needs to...More

It is already a while ago, when we went to the museum in Melbourne. A retired firefighter showed us the whole museum an answered all our questions. It was a very interesting morning and we could just recommend to go there.
