Good place to know sea life

It is good place for kids to know sea life, they will learn a lot, touch sea creature, and there's 4D film which will atract kids and parents.

Would highly recommend to people young and old! We went with young children and all the interactive displays captured their attention and made for lots of learning and discoveries. As adults we loved it too, great exhibits and easy to get around!

It was a little more expensive than I expected and a number of the tanks were empty with their inhabitants being moved which was disappointing. But it was easy to lose yourself in our friends under the sea.

Look I know it must be expensive to maintain but 5 adults $200, Kids under 4 free is not cheap. Then food and the gift shop on the way put on top of that. Staff however very friendly.

Came here on a very busy Sunday, with lots of quite young children there with their parents. I did enjoy it though as the variety at this Sea Life centre is outstanding and very interesting. I really enjoyed the glass walkway and seeing the huge rays, and of course seeing the penguins at the end. I had a voucher for... More

This place is good if you want to show the little ones the sealife. But there isnt really much sealife to see compare to the others I've been to and it is relatively small and expensive. Not really worth what you have to pay. The annoying thing is the way that its design, you are going round in circle and... More

This is the second time our family has visited the Aquarium and we still love it. Being able to view the creatures so close up is amazing!!! The penguins are cute and the information given is quite interesting. The personalised fish images on the wall which you can create is a nice touch and a little rest for the young... More

This place is pretty spectacular! Especially the end part (which I won't ruin) the end part is amazing! Spent a good few hours here and really enjoyed it! Pre-purchase tickets as we arrived before opening and there was a very long line however the pre-purchase line is quick and easy

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
