This historically iconic track is home to the Melbourne Cup. You cannot go past this day in November without a great day out. The grounds are spectacular and the roses are just beautiful.

A place to enjoy during the racing Spring carnival time. Electric atmosphere during this time. Lots of ladies and men fashion. Beautiful garden with flowers. Excellent facilities. Should not miss if you are in Melbourne during Spring.

Our conference held a dinner and awards night here on our last night. The venue was terrific, the food was great and the staff excellent. We enjoyed a 3 course sit down meal.

Heading to Flemington this Saturday just wanting to know where is the best place to go for general admission does that give u access to any grandstand seating ? Is there any indoor bars or areas that are worth going too between going out on the lawn ???

I am going to Cirque do Soleil at Flemington Racecourse and want to use public transport from the city. It is not a race day so how can I do this?

I have used the Tram before, stopping at stop 29. It is quite a walk to grandstand area. I would take cab or uber.

Yes we would like to attend the Melbourne cup this year. We would like a facility that offers food wine and a view of the track. Where would be the best lounge etc to meet our requirements.

I think you have some good options already mentioned. I was a member of the media, so my seat was super. I think the Precinct is the best option.
