Rather small market with very basic fruit and vegetables. Nothing like the markets in Europe. It's not worth the bother.

We visited South Melbourne Market in March 2018. It's a clean and lively market! You can easily find cafes and hang out there!

We visited a few different markets in Melbourne and we love South Melbourne Market best. The display at the stalls is very neat and nice. The little shops nearby the market is cool for a great morning walk.
