This was my second time to the stadium and I think perfect for the event. The stadium is large enough to comfortably seat the fans, on Sunday night it was a little over 10,000 and small enough to provide a more intimate setting. From higher in the stands I could still every player and the action at either end of... More

With one of the national teams in the Asian Cup and the lads were impressed as well as I with: 1-the European feel of the stadium 2-the surface which is impeccable 3-proximity to both Rod Laver area and the city. Seats are very comfortable and the roof is angled just enough to magnify the ambience. Beautiful complex and I'm not... More

I have been visiting this stadium for some years now, for Melbourne Storm matches, and I've loved it for its close views of the game from several locations. However, the recent Australia vs Kuwait soccer match, I bought 'restricted view' seats. If you see this in your Ticketmaster cart, take it very seriously (see my photo). In the north western... Saw Australia v Kuwait and my first time at the now called Melbourne Rectangular Stadium. Easy access from the CBD via tram, staff were helpful and viewing even up in the top section (row W section 3) was pretty good. Only complaint, getting back to the CBD with a full house meant a 20 minute walk to Swanston street trams... More

Right next to public transport, 5-10mins away from CBD via train. Great sized ground which holds about 30k. Very good looking ground as well. Good views from seats and can usually sit where ever you like (depending on the zones your ticket allows).

Steep sided and awesome atmosphere too. I watched Melbourne victory play here and it was a lovely experience. It's great for sports fans. The local supporters made an amazing atmosphere and by the looks of it, there isn't a bad seat in the house!

Very well organised stadium with a different design which always makes the day out more interesting. It was quick to get in and drink prices weren't horrendous. Definitely worth a day trip if you can in Melbourne.

Would be ideal if Melbourne had a mild climate. The roof (or lack thereof) affords no protection from the elements to those in the expensive seats. The view from the'A reserve' seats on the western side is obstructed by the poor design of the dugouts, whereas those sitting on the eastern side bare the full brunt of the sun during... More

Not a mad soccer fan but loved the experience and would definitely go again. The building was packed and the crowds managed to move very freely. This building is impressive. At night look at the changing lights on the exterior. I drive past it often and it is never the same.

Just like everything else in Melbourne's CBD, AAMI is easy to get to, easy to get out of...and purposeful.
