I thought our Melbourne by Foot tour was excellent and will recommend it to friends visiting Melbourne. Our guide, Gary, was very knowledgeable and I loved the way the tour wove together the history, the politics, the art, the culture, etc. Gary was very accessible...More

The tour included most of the main sights in downtown and the guide (David, i think) was knowledgeable about all aspects including history, politics, art, architecture, etc., and he tried to include everyone in the discussion.

Had a great walking tour with Chris our guide. He provided a very informative dialogue on the history of Melbourne from its establishment through to the present day. He was able to answer all our questions on culture and life in Melbourne. Definitely recommend.

To start, our tour guide himself sounded bored and even acknowledged that he could get boring so if we wandered off, it'd be no issue. That should have been my first warning. Then his facts were mixed up! He literally got how the coffee culture...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the
city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques,
throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You
never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air

Hi Tony, the Central Melbourne walk is scheduled for 3 hours, with a 15 minute refreshment break half way through... We usually go a 5-10 minutes over time.
