I booked the trip as I'm a long time fan. It was well worth it - the tour guide was great, keeping the coach laughing. Didn't know too much of the modern day neighbours and openly said that he doesn't watch it so that was...More
The best thing about this tour is the commentary probably keeping us entertained and informed whilst getting to and from the sets. I loved learning all the background details about how the filming is done and getting exclusive looks into some of the sets. The...More
'Neighbours' fans will definitely want to take the tour of the studios and visit the quiet suburban corner that doubles up as Ramsay Street. A people carrier will whisk you off from the Flinders Street office to the site where the filming is done. The...More
A must do for any neighbours fan or anyone in general as its amazing to see how stuff is done and episodes filmed.
Back at the office I met Libby who was awesome and even on my personal request recorded a birthday message for my...More
Its a while since I have watched Neighbours but I was a big fan as a student so couldn't resist the chance to take this tour while I was in Melbourne. I was a bit worried that the tour would focus on the current storylines/cast...More
Neither of us have watched Neighbours in 15-20 years, but as a child I had really wanted to visit Ramsay Street, or as I now know it, Pin Oak Court, so I booked for us to go on the tour while we were in Melbourne....More
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.

Well worth doing if your in Melbourne as it's a.piece of modern day history and a laugh...
