Go to the Speakeasy HQ to see great, talented variety acts. We loved the warm atmosphere and the spectacle of music, comedy, burlesque interpersed with interludes, asides and hospitality. Intimate surroundings and very friendly staff made for a great night out.
Totally agreed with Mick's review dated 1st July 2018.
I guess I had fun because I read the reviews here before going to the show.
I can understand if one expected it to be a high end performance, they would be disappointed. However, for the...More

Visited Speakeasy HQ with my bf. Took the lovers lane package. Fantastic evening, great variety of entertainment, we laughed all night. Front row seats. Recommend to anyone wanting to have a good laugh and be thoroughly entertained.
Brilliant night mid week ... took the lovers lane package. 55 bucks for 2 people.. included 1 bottle of wine and 2 glasses champagne... fabulous night of comedy dance and singing... so good we came back again on Saturday
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
