We had lunch at the Boardwalk Bistro. There was 3 choice sizes of either pork or lamb. Serves were substantial. There was some misunderstanding with staff, we asked for a bread roll when ordering, staff member told us, and pointed where carvery was. Once at carvery, we were told by another staff member we had to purchase from where we just ordered, in the end no bread roll. Limited dessert choices off menu, my husband ordered the sticky date pudding, whereas I ordered a cheesecake from cafe for half the price of sticky date pudding, ‘go figure’. Overall, a nice experience, view from table was okay.

Stay here because there is food, drink, accommodation, good parking, room service, and a casino. Stay in the cheapest room it’s good, rooms are on the small side but ok for 2 people, Have stayed at wrest point 4 times all up and from what I remember if you pay a bit more you get a better view, on a different side of the building, room the same size though.Maybe a good idea to check room size if there’s a lot of you. This was a quick trip so more than happy with view. This is where we stay in Hobart, good all rounder, views, walk to servo, shops, taxi not far away, we used Uber, helpful staff, gym,pool, you know the usual. We will be going back again. We visited on a Saturday night and it was busy but not over crowded. Live music all night was wonderful. Not many tables were open. Pokies rooms were busy. Bistro downstairs had nice food. We had the roast pork which was great.
