We did it on foot and took an hour or so to have a good look. Nice scenery, lots of boats to look at and wish for and some nice cafes to partake of coffee as well.

Some great restaurants along here, slightly overpriced and could do with a bit more variety, but still a nice place.

Great area to visit some shops but just to drive around and enjoy the water views. Enjoyed lunch at Wrest Point Casino, fabulous.

Delightful suburb, with plenty of eateries, shops and river walks. Plenty of accommodation and good bus service into the city.

Visited after spending the morning at Salamanca Markets. A lot of shops were closed or closing by 3pm.

We stayed in Sandy Bay over night and it was lovely, great water views and shops to visit. A very pretty area and close to the Salamanca Market.

We only spent a very short time at Sandy Bay, however the surrounding roads give you absolutely beautiful views all the way around Sandy Bay. Beautiful wharfs and boats to wander around, must see.
