Every city has it's Cathedral and Hobart is no exception. Beautiful architecture and a historic part of Hobart. Well worth a visit.

A long walk from the city with no known public transport. A tough task for 2, 70 year plus seniors. When we arrived the church main part locked so only access to the foyer. No historical pamphlets available. SAD!

A splendid fabric, wonderful proportions. Nearly wrecked interior. Thankfully 'saved' by Archbishop Julian Porteous. Splendid Hanging Calvary group.

Worth stopping by when travelling north of the CBD to see beautiful stone work and stained glass in one of Australia's oldest Catholic cathedrals.

Not one of your over the top Gothic cathedrals. Beautiful stained glass, modest size and friendly congregation. 6pm Sunday Mass had an expert music group with an outstanding violinist.

The congregation members were very welcoming, the priest ran a nice mass, and the church is lovely. The 6pm Sat mass was completed in 55 minutes and the overall service was worth repeating.
