Lovely place to take a picnic basket and relax or take the grandkids to explore the trains and equipment. Closeby to shops if you run out of anything eg drinks

This wonderful park has been constantly changing over the years. My family and I used to come here with my Dad and have a lovely afternoon tea in the Park on Fathers Day, and now it is still one of our favourites. It is only...More

I took my little girl (7yo) and a friends little boy (3yo) for a play a few weeks ago and they had a fantastic afternoon. It's a great place to spend time with children and friends. They also have free barbecues if you want to...More

Airport shuttle bus driver pointed it out for us and it was an everyday activity from then on! Great park! Shade for sitting, excellent slides and swings etc, a train track painted on the path for bikes - just fantastic. Kids just loved it.

I was visiting from interstate and took my children to the park. While it was well equipped with play things, there were some "groupie" events happening and all the seating/grass areas were taken. As its very popular with the locals we were squeezed out so...More

Unless you have young children which need to be entertained it is not worth going unless you are into playgrounds anyway. Great place to have a no mess at home birthday party for the little ones.

A good place for children up to about 9 to fill in time. They will enjoy this as much as any tourist attraction. There are no particularly special features, but there's enough when combined with children's imaginations.

The train park is our local kids park. Our grandaughter loves it as much as her Mum and auntie did when they were children. Originally it had an old original train for children to climb (it was awesome) but that has gone and has been...More

I don't think so, it is a matter of getting there early to get a table under shelter; my grandson had his third birthday at the train park April this year and he and his guests had a wonderful time. It is a good venue for a... More
