I am always on the lookout for a wool shop that sells "raw" wool (rovings....) for felters. I was delighted to find this store close to the CBD that had local wool for sale at a reasonable price. The sales staff were helpful and knowledgeable. So....now, Tasmanian merino is being mixed with Tasmanian alpaca, New Zealand merino and silk fabric... More

Hello, so glad we could help you. The fibre mix sounds delightful and will make a lovely memory of Tasmania and New Zealand. Would love to see a picture of the finished scarf once finished, you can post to our facebook page. Cheers Cheryl More

Beautiful hand made items with excellent quality materials. The colors were gorgeous! Just a bit pricey for me though. Located on Salamanca Place where the big market is held on Saturdays. Charming old warehouse buildings restored and used for art galleries, shops and restaurants.

Glad you enjoyed your visit to our shop. Prices do range depending what is in store and there is often a sales rack with good bargains. More

Lovely place to pick up gifts, both already knitted and Tasmanian wool by the skein. Great selection and lovely, engaging proprietors.

Tasmania was quite nippy when we arrived, and we had packed light, so my wife purchased a long woollen cardigan that was warm & yet light-weight (note - the next ten days of our trip were a heat-wave). However, the attractive woollen will get some good use over the next few years.

This was a great little shop with a large variety of New Zealand woolen goods. Very helpful and friendly staff/owners. I am a convert to Merino now and love my purchase. P.S. Thanks for sharing your wine!
