We passed by these small gardens on the Hobart Rivulet Walk between the Cascades Female Factory and the Cascades Brewer site.

Some of the Rhododenrons were in bloom and this provided some lovely pink colours.

There was parking, a children's playground, picnic seating, BBQ and toilet facilities.

If you do the rivulet track from the city, you end up in these gardens at the top. It is near the Cascade brewery and was very green at this time of year. There are picnic tables here.

The gardens were bursting with colour. We enjoyed a peaceful walk along the paths, looking in awe at the magnificent blooms. A great place to have lunch in the restaurant. We enjoyed the salmon pizza. Delicious!

The "Cascade Walking Track" is a small park centered around a flowing river and spillway, with nice tree-lined walkways, benches, and grassy areas. You can walk end to end in about 5-10 minutes, or spend more time here and relax and look at the water and bird life in the region. I walked through this in the rain, so didn't spend a lot of time here, but I found it very pleasant.

You can use this park to walk to/from the Cascades Female Factory (tourist site) to the Cascades Brewery. Probably about a 15-20 minute walk all told, but convenient and memorable.

Magnificent Trees with grassy slopes all the way down to bordering rivulet. There is parking at McRobbies road entrance with toilets playground and dog bags and bins . The path meanders through the small park where there is a picnic area. If you are feel like walking further, head down the Degraves Street past the Female Factory then turn left at Tara Street to join the Hobart Linear Park and rivulet walk into Hobart . Dog Friendly on lead .

A well kept garden with paths for a relaxing stroll. Walkers and joggers and doggies were all enjoying the trees and tricking rivulet sounds. Very nice.

Located next to the famous brewery and nourished by the waters of the Hobart Rivulet is this gem of a playground and garden.

You don’t need to be on a tour or visiting the brewery to enjoy this great spot.
