Its an activity best undertaken in reasonable weather as it could get a bit rough. However it was windy the day we went there. We were entertained by Mick(captain) and Damo(deckhand), two Aussies with great humour and rapport. The sights are truly spectacular. We saw many dolphins and even a tuna, albatross and other birdlife. The cliffs and islands are... More

Thoroughly recommend an outing on this cruise! An incredible way to see and experience the wonderful cliffs of the Tasman peninsula. I had seen the views on the website/brochure but stunning in real life. You may even be lucky enough to see dolphins! Totally worth the money - Please go!!

What a day! Bit cold, but we were well provided for by expert and friendly crew. The Tasman Island Cruise was spectacular. Saw seals, seabirds and amazing rock formations in an unspoilt part of the world. A very enjoyable day. We then went to Port Arthur with its dark history both modern and ancient. A place to reflect on human... More

There are 2 sight-seeing cruise offerings by this company- one launching adjacent to Port Arthur Penal Colony (which is this review) and a similar offering from South Bruny Island (which is conceptually similar, which we also did and which is a little more "adventurous" in some respects!). The trip takes a bit over a couple of hours in all, and... More

Really enjoyed the Tasman Island Cruise. It was a unique way to see the sheer cliffs and beauty of this area. The boats are very nice, the crew fantastic and really good at explaining information on the area as well as boat safety and details of what to expect and what is going on. The day I was out was... My partner and I took our 9 month old baby on the ride and she had just as much fun as we did. Very experienced, knowledgable captain who showed us some amazing sights and took us on a wild ride at times. We felt very safe throughout the whole trip with the staff being very helpful from the beginning. We... More

Amazing scenery, commentary and well worth the cost. It's not cheap, but you do get your moneys worth. Some of the most incredible views of Tasmania, taht you can only get from the water. Yea, you could do it yourself, if you had a damn big boat, or a friend with one, but what you wouldn't get is the knowledge... More

We were guided by very experienced and helpful staff both during our booking and on the cruise. The scenery and the skill of the pilot were amazing - we always felt safe even when close to waves crashing against rocks. It was a bit chilly at times but we were well protected from the spray by the huge coats that... More

Wow, we had the most amazing experience on this tour with many minutes spent with dolphins on all sides of the boat! We also saw albatros and seals feeding:) the islands and landscape are also very nice. A great time highly recommended. The captain and "guide" are experts who really transfer their passion and share their knowledge. One note, if... More
