We wanted tp pick some berries so pulled into HIllbrook for srawberries. As strawberry lovers we did not expect to be so utterly delighted with the taste of freshly picked fruit. We paid $10 a kilo to pick the most luscious, totally glorious strawbs we have ever tasted! We loved the no frills, hands on, farm approach of picking these... More

Despite arriving 20 minutes before closing, the staff were very friendly and allowed us to pick our strawberries. Bought some blackberries too but they barely made the car they were so delicious. Thank you for a great family experience.

Some of the staff are perhaps not customer focused. We were spoken to quite rudely and all we asked was what was available and what was the cost. We enjoyed the picking of raspberries. There seemed to be quite a bit of fruit available. We did not try the cafe. After our initial interactions, we didn't want to stay any... More

Called in here in a lovely day around 12ish and wasn't too busy, car park was busy and a lot of people in cafe, went to see staff and were given two containers to pick raspberries and strawberries... Plenty in stock of both berries, we did put down our strawberries at one stage to we had both hands to pick... More

I walked into the shop and asked if there were berries that could be picked today. The staff members reaction was to tell me that he was really busy with all these orders which he pointed to and said he would be with me when he could. Not a great first impression when all I asked was a question, I... More

Thanks for your detailed feedback. Our staff are typically awarded glowing reviews so it’s unfortunate that the staff member’s intention to serve the existing customers wasn’t communicated in a better way. You’re right that we have been understaffed at times during this season due to the massive increase in demand since we took over the business. We are committed to... More

We picked our own strawberries and raspberries today. They have quite a few strawberry fields that they rotate, so there should be plenty to pick during the season. Lovely shop and outside deck area with a slide and giant chess board to entertain the kids.

Hi Jenny, Thanks for taking the time to review us! We do sometimes run out of fruit due to high demand some days so we always recommend checking the Facebook page for updates, but as you've found yourself, there's usually a good amount to pick. Plus there's the pre-picked farm fresh ones if you still want more! More

A lovely cute farm which is spacious enough to wander around but compact enough to spend an hour or two. At entrance is the lovely cafe with simple menu. At the back is the berry farm, kids playing ground & outdoor chess which I enjoyed them all with my 3yo daughter. Had a totally memorable time there with my daughter... More

Friendly staff and delicious large berries but waiting times are unacceptable. Totally understaffed in the peak Summer season! Really??? You won't get return customers with service like that

I’m glad our staff got great feedback and you enjoyed the berries. This is our first season operating the business and as such it can be a challenge to anticipate demand as it can change from one day to the next and to staff accordingly. We are working on it though and I apologise for the wait time you experienced... More

Arrived at 3pm, and was told that there were no more strawberries to be picked. 1 punnet of strawberries sells for $10, strawberries are large & juicy, but not the sweetest. Desserts at the cafe were below average. Gift shop within the cafe has a limited selection. Not worth the 30min drive from Launceston city.

Thank you for taking time to review us. We do get picked out some days, especially by the afternoon. Our Facebook page should have the latest picking availability status and I would advise anyone wanting to come out to check that first and/or to give us a call. The gift shop is aimed as Farmgate selling some local produce but... More

We were there on 3 December. It was hot and sunny but we still have a load of fun picking strawberries. The field was overrun at some parts so we had to be a bit careful, some weeds were prickly and we came across some burrs. However because we did ventured further away from the gate, we got better picks... More
