Not as many activities on the beach these days as there used to be such as the sandcastle competition, but its a good safe beach for kids and families close to all amenities and dog friendly.

Sandy beach with great walking surface, ideal for walking, running and swimming. Dog friendly especially early in the morning. Good parking and walking tracks to the beach, also a paved path that runs all the way from Brighton to Seacliff
