The highlight of 'Mad March' in Adelaide is without a doubt the Adelaide Fringe Festival. Starting in mid February, this month-long festival encompasses all things festive and artistic. Quirky music, dance and comedy performances from all over the globe are presented in venues throughout the city and within the outdoor centrepiece, The Garden of Unearthly Delights. With so much going on at one time, with not only Fringe events but also with the Adelaide Festival of Arts, WOMAdelaide, the Adelaide Cup and the Clipsal 500, your only problem will be choosing which events to attend!

We were in the city for only a couple of days & hadn't realised, when we booked months ago, it was the Fringe. There was definitely a buzzy atmosphere everywhere & we kept stumbling across events, like a pop up literary talk near the river....More

Semi-billed as a kids show, I have not laughed so much in years. Tim's pure slap-stick comedy was just what the doctor would order. The kids in the audience were in hysterics and so was I (73 years old). Audience participation was great. The theme...More

Ventured into the Garden of Unearthly Delights. Have 2 youngish kids, 7 & 11 and they loved the atmosphere. Had some good rides for kids also and they loved the ferris wheel. Food awesome as usual, if you love meat you have to go to...More

Love the atmosphere. Exciting anticipatory vibe. Just wandering around before or after a show is great in itself. Lots of variety of food stalls to choose from, though timing can be an issue as lines can get a bit long - no good if you're...More
