It’s a nice arcade decorated for Christmas. There is a small museum, where we could hear the polka that was played at the opening of the arcade many years ago.

I came here a few weeks ago as part of the free walking tour in Adelaide, the guide took us to this place, the arcade, it is very tidy, clean and has very unique shops, although it's not my scene. Still I admire the arcade,...More

This is an interesting arcade off the Rundle mall. I loved the Milliner shop. Not many left in Oz so it was good to see all types of hats etc. Heaps of variety to be had. Plenty of shops to keep you busy in the...More

On a visit into central Adelaide we went to the arcade. It has a collection of eclectic shops and very helpful merchants. I got a new belt and my wife looked at jewelry and watches. There are lots of benches to rest on and it...More

While Adelaide arcade could do with a teensy bit more TLC, it is still a worthwhile place to visit. I came through for lunch at Two Bit Villains and was rewarded with some stunning architecture on my way up. There is a series of museum...More

Interesting indoor outdoor street. Shopping like it once was before shopping malls. Well restored but at the end of the day it is still just a shopping street. Certainly worth keeping and seeing but I wouldn't make a special trip to see it.

Went into the Arcade from Grenfell Street - it's been beautifully restored - everything looks perfect for the era involved - even the floor looks great. Wandered through - all the retail outlets seem to be suited to the place. One of our party is...More

This a historical arcade spans Grenfell to Rundle Street and was built in the mid-1880's and the site of two prior fires. It is a beautiful old and historical building but the shops do not do it full justice which probably reflects the economic reality...More

This heritage building is a wonderful alternative to the averageness of shopping in the CBD. It is a gem, and on a par with similar places in other Australian State capitals. Take time to admire the building itself, as well as the retail outlets on...More
