After attending a winery tour with "Taste the Barossa" tours, I am pleased to advise that this was the best wine tour I have attended throughout Australia. The Barossa is world renowned for its wineries and local produce, but it was the untold story of the region that our tour guide "Ashley" so aptly shared with the group. His knowledge... More

Russ knows more about the wine than a seagull knows about chips. That is, he probably can't make any but he knows how to get some and he'll bring 20 mates when he does. Russ is the kind of guy who looks like he gives a really decent handshake. I didn't try to shake his hand though, because I saw... More

Our tour bus for Taste the Barossa was due to pick us up at a nearby hotel at 8:45. We were not very happy that the bus was 25 minutes late! We even had the hotel concierge call the company--and luckily were told that the bus was on the way. We were the last to board, so maybe that explains... More

A great day out with Ash, our excellent & entertaining host, driver & tour guide. We visited 4 wineries in addition to sightseeing through picturesque countryside. Each of the vineyards provided a range of red & white wines to taste with full & informative tasting commentaries provided by local expert staff. Lunch was a delicious gourmet platter of local produce... More

I've been looking forward to taking this tour since I arrived in Adelaide a month ago and I wasn't disappointed! The tour visited 4 beautiful wineries, along with a beautiful drive through the Adelaide hills and Barossa Valley. Lunch did not disappoint either - a delicious plate if local cheese, meat, bread, etc.

The best were the less structured tastings I thought, which let you interact more with staff. The structured ones had a fairly boring longwinded commentary. The lunch provided at the second vineyard (Peter... More
