The marina is the entry to the island via boat. Airport is also a couple of min away. It's a cute little seaside town with restaurants and shops surrounding it: bakery, fish and chips, Romano's Italian restaurant, tavern, yatch club, icecream shops, pharmacy, IGA with bottle shop and the location for water tours. Water is crystal blue and it's nice to sit looking over the marina eating dinner. Some restaurants were closed which I assume due to COVID but unsure. Only place to buy fresh seafood is the IGA. There is a free bus going to and from the marina to hotels every 10 min. We visited this area a lot when we were here for 4 days. Very clean on the streets. Lots of golf buggies which you can hire and cruise around the island instead of getting a bus or walk (costly though). All staff wonderful! Not one bad encounter which was great.

Marina staff are totally miserable. As soon as you're lines are set, they are there with the efpos machine, no welcome, not chat, just pay up for your visit. Didn't even get the chance to turn the engine off! Apart from the showers there are no amenities for visiting boats. We asked for pool towels, nothing! I ended up 'borrowing' some from a resort. No where nearby to hire golf carts. Most restaurants are shut, including the yacht club, unless you want crappy deep fried food from the pub. Central resort pool was fetid! A mass of sweaty sweet cocktails and massive queues of people in the pool waiting for yet another sugar hit cocktail. The pool toilets were disgusting and dirty and surely must have been a Covid risk. In the end we decided not to risk the pool and used the beach instead!
