WILD LIFE Hamilton Island is one of only a few places in the world where you can experience the thrill and excitement of cuddling a koala. This is an excellent opportunity to get up close and personal with one of Australia's most famous and unique animals.

Other experiences include Breakfast with the Koalas, Koala Cuddle Photos, personal encounters with other animals including our Dingoes, Snakes and Lizards, our Keeper Tours (free with admission) and the Twilight Tour and BBQ.

We took three young children here for an afternoon's entertainment on a wet day. The kids enjoyed a limited range of Australian animals - one crocodile, two Lizards, one white cockatoo that sometimes talks, a black cockatoo, some kangaroos and wallabies etc. of course there was a koala. It's a small park and obviously difficult to care for animals in... More

My husband and I were excited to have breakfast with the koalas... After seeing how they are treated at Wildlife Hamilton Island, we wish we hadn't. What is it with people that means they aren't satisfied just having breakfast within feet of a beautiful animal? Instead, the koalas are dragged off a tree and dumped from person to person in... Unfortunately I don't think this was really worth the money - unless you're an international tourist with no chance of seeing a koala or crocodile any other way. It's very small - not much to see you could whip around in 10 mins easily. Honestly I thought the enclosures were so small & a bit cruel. It gets packed at... More

It is one of the highlights in my Hamilton trip as you can only cuddle a Koala in Queensland and nowhere else! I loved it!

The food is cafe style and good value. My son had a photo with the Koala named Ken. Ken was huge and the staff told us from that he came from Melbourne.. My advice regarding having photos taken is book as soon as you get onto the island as they get booked out fast.

Enjoyed our buffet breakfast with the koalas - hot foods, omelet station, pancakes, breads, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, juices, tea and coffee. Good opportunity to cuddle a koala (need to book), however this is a very short experience to accommodate many people. Park itself only has a few animals to see.

For the money this venue is a joke , animals very hard to see 1 koala spotted at a distance could have been a fluffy toy, crocodile in water that nobody saw, dingo that must have hidden in a hole , and a couple of kangaroos that were under a sack hut at a distance, never moved a muscle. Waste... More

We booked the opportunity to cuddle and get our pictures taken with the koalas. It was so much fun, although wish we could have stayed longer with the animals! Great fun!

Many thanks for your review and feedback. We are very pleased to hear how much you enjoyed your Koala experience. Sadly we are limited with time as we do need to try and fit as many guests as we comfortably can within the allotted time we have for these encounters. Welfare standards and legislation in Queensland has specific guidelines we... More

This is a very small wildlife park and quite expensive but the kids ( ages 9 and 2) still thoroughly enjoyed it especially seeing the big crocodile so close up because of the glass enclosure. It will only take about half an hour to get around.

Many thanks for your feedback, so pleased your children enjoyed their time at the park, in particular the large croc exhibit, Mac is a very impressive animal and is enjoying the new way we are feeding him closer to the water and the guests. Makes for a thrilling experience. More
