Do not bring your dogs here. Parvo virus is rife in Townsville's parks. This is a terrible virus that can kill young dogs.

The raintrees that bare overhead provide the best shade! Park has lots of reasons to visit - dog park, swings, kids playground, footpath that extends the whole river, free BBQs. Nice area for a family picnic.

Such a nice park, spacious so it can be busy but still have plenty of room for all. Great playground for kids, dog park for pet owners, great paths for the walkers/joggers and bike riders to enjoy. Park is on river edge so very relaxing...More
