I was travelling to Townsville for a conference and had a limited availability. The weekend I had to dive was actually Remote Area Dive's dive club weekend, but they graciously allowed one yank interloper. I was made to feel very welcome by the crew and the 'locals' Enjoyed five dives over the two days and saw lots of interesting things.... More

I Experienced the weekend of the 24th Jan. with my son, my New Years Resolution was to push myself into experiencing things I normally wouldn't experience and secretly have a fear of the water. But the attraction was snorkelling on the reef and to experience a scuba dive for the first time. Pop was fantastic and patient with me to... More

I just finished my open water certification and my partner came on the dive weekend to have a few dives as well (already certified). The dive course was fantastic (thanks Fiona!) and the program was well structured. The weekend was lovely with amazing dives, the weather was perfect and the trip very well catered. Recommend that you have your own... More

Saw a lot of different corals, fish and invertebrates. The staff was very helpful and patient. The night we spent in tents on Pelorus island, where we also had a barbecue. A great dive trip :D

I wasn't sure what to expect from a dive weekend sleeping in swags on an uninhabited island. But it turned out to be a great experience. The whole crew as well as the other guests were great and we had a good time and good dives.

I recently went on a dive trip with a Remote Area Dive organised trip to Palau! Everything was professionally handled by the staff from RAD both prior to the trip and whilst there. I won’t need to go into detail how awesome diving in Palau is (it’s awesome!!), however what I would like to acknowledge is the extra effort that... More

Excellent and professional dive company. I booked a weekend dive trip for our a family of four travelling from the UK. We did their weekend dive trip sleeping on Pelorous Island which was great fun. The flights to Townsville from Sydney were cheap and easy and we also spend a couple of nights on Magnetic Island afterwards. Everything about RAD... More

There isn't much I can say that hasn't been said already about these guys. The RAD staff are very genuine. They are welcoming, relaxed and professional with everything they do. The facilities are first rate, with quality equipment and an very experienced crew. I completed my PADI Open water theory and pool dives during the week. Then off to Pelorus... More
