On our visit to Townsville we went here for a morning walk and have a small picnic. There is no separate walking lane in the park and cars are driving all around it. The botanical part was a disappointment and was made with no feeling...More

It is a place to feel the breathe of the nature and stay with friends. More plants could boost touristic receptors

We attended a wedding here and it was lovely, lots of nice grassed areas and trees. It would be nice for picnics and a casual walk

We visited this spot several times on our last visit....there was never anyone else there. Strange, as its a beautiul spot for just a walk or a nice picnic...lots of really interesting trees and plants...and the ponds are full of ducks

A large park with plants from around the world, a beautiful place to explore. Although there weren't any walking tracks or too many flowers at this of the year, it was still a great place to visit and picnic

Compared to the other Botanical Gardens we visited on our two month tour of Australia this was a bit disappointing. Its great for local people to walk, relax and exercise in but for garden lovers the planting is limited and unspectacular.
