What a lovely coffee outing. Good coffee and tea, decent scones. A very relaxed, clean and breezy spot for casual get-togethers with friends. Going to make it a regular thing. You can even walk off the extra calories by exploring the lovely tropical gardens and...More

Beautiful gardens, ponds with turtles in them. Their cafe makes a lemon tart to die for. Well worth a visit.

The palmetum is beautiful. Lots to look at & free of charge. Lots of places to have a picnic/gathering. There is a cafe at the front as well.

A gorgeous garden full of interesting plants and trees-there is a quaint coffee shop for refreshments out the front and a few wallabies wonder around.Close to Townsville and free.I saw plants I had never seen before.

My only problem with this park is the no bikes rule (I understand, but wish......). Other than that it is perfect, nested between the Ross River and the busy University Road, it is an oasis. Idea when you have to get right away from the...More

Specialising in palms and cacti, this was an interesting and unusual garden. Not within walking distance of town, though.
