We drove to the top and there are various viewing vantage points. Amazing views across Townsville and beyond to the hinterland. Simply a must visit when in Townsville. I was surprised that there was no one else up there.

A narrow winding road and need to be on the lookout for cyclists and walkers who also use the road.As well as the views likely to see a rock wallaby at the top.
