I'm not a surfer. But this place is fabulous. No matter whether you can surf or not. You don't even need to know how to swim to enjoy this joint. Must see place if you're visiting Australia or Queensland. Dr. ARON K Sudath

Surf is messy, and the water at the shore is brown. A lot of blue bottles as well. It’s better to go North up the beach 15/20 min walk as the water turns aqua and is like an oasis

It is an amazing place to visit. Very clean beach with fine sand. There is a walking path parallel to the beach and many resting places. Great atmosphere.

Visited early in January 2019 while it was apparently stinger season, something we were aware of but were ignorant how bad it could get. Every few steps we were dodging dead or dying Blue Bottle's that were washed up on the beach. If we knew...More

I don't swim but my family members do. I was impressed with the amount of safe swimming areas, which were well patrolled. the boardwalk was clean and I saw council workers cleaning the bbq's and bins.

Surfers Paradise Beach is the most active part of the Gold Coast and is a melting point for tourists with well laid benches and neatly kept beach and that is an attraction worldwide for surfing.

There are lockers near 'go ride a wave' surf school which is next to mcDonald at surfer paradise. I believe you can use them.
