Fantastic with a free Zoo. Great place for a family day out.

What a great place to spend a morning. It has an excellent free zoo, a playground and lots of shade.

Great place to visit for kids to know more abt the Australian and other animals. The zoo keepers were very keen to explain and provide more insights abt the animals - traits, behaviours and habitat. The best part was this was free. I would bc even paid for the admission. In the botanical gardens and hence great place to relax after... More

We have two young kids (3 & 5) and all four of us loved walking around the gardens and zoo. The coffee at the cafe there is great too! Looking forward to going again when we get back up to Rocky.

Took our visitors to the botanical gardens and zoo. They were very impressed that it was free and able to interact with the animals. There were more kangaroos previously, what happened to them?

There is a cafe there which also has public toilets but we didn't get a chance to eat there. Great place for a picnic and we saw... More

Came here years and years ago. What an improvement so many more animals and to be able to see them living in excellent condition a credit to the botanical gardens

Nice day for a walk and a look at the animals. The place really needs some work and looking tired. The chimps looked very sad and I wonder if they need a bigger enclosure or just freedom. All in all some nice animal exhibits and a relaxing morning.

Wow what a wonderful place to start a walk. You can walk down to the pond at the bottom of the hill or even walk south and follow the lagoon around. It is suitable for a bike with my 5 year old , however you need to keep an eye on them as in places there are pot holes forming... More
