We had some time to kill one day in Port Douglas while we were on our honeymoon so we decided to go to the Wildlife Habitat. The employees were so friendly the minute we walked through the door. Having gone to 2 other conservatories during...More

We went here with one goal, to get our photos taken with a Koala! Once that was achieved, there is still so much to see! Will probably spend half a day here

Really great place for kids and for adults also. Feeding the kangaroos was the best part but other than that you get to see amazing animals and birds. Stuff was nice friendly and informative. Holding koala was nice but you only get to hold it...More

We went around lunchtime and probably better if you did it early in the day or later. At 35 degrees even the animals know it’s time to hide from the heat, however a quaint spot to view a koala, emu, loads of birds as well...More

Feeding a kangaroo was amazing! The crocodile feeding session was also impressive. I am so glad we stopped and spent time here.

Spent a morning here; get to go back for four days. Wonderful place. Very clean and well maintained, even though they are upgrading parts of the habitat. Lovely staff who were enthusiastic and very informed. Great place!

First visited around 2001 when I thought it was fantastic. Seems as though there are not as many animals there and the koalas have certainly reduced - only 3 or 4 that I could see. I was just going to photograph the only one that...More

We did the nocturnal tour and found it informative and fun. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The animals were well cared for and we got to see feeding of owls, tawny frogmouths, sugar gliders, a quoll (the highlight) and got to hand feed kangaroos...More

yeah will be fine :) the enclosures aren’t too big either so doesn’t involve a great deal of walking. there quite a few benches around to rest on as well
