Des Spencer is a world renowned artist recognised for his vivacious images of Australia. Land and cityscapes, floral, abstract studies and underwater scenes explode with pulsating colour. Original paintings and giclee prints are available for purchase in the gallery or create your own painting with The Ultimate Art Experience. Paint side by side with expert guidance from Des. No experience needed - take home a unique painting from North Queensland painted by you. Bookings essential. The gallery is now closed and Des Spencer now lives in Dubai in the UAE. However you can still purchase his original paintings or prints that are hand finished by the artist.

This place offers visitors a chance to see some great examples of modern aboriginal art and is a kind of oasis on a street dominated by bars and beachware shops

This artist reminds me of Ken Done back in the day. Beautiful art work, and competitive prices. Although for some reason he is moving from Port Douglas.

Des Spencer's art is unique and has a very tropical feel to it. If you want to take a piece of the tropics home with you this is the place to check out. They can ship canvases to you.
