We loved our first visit to the GBR thanks to wavelength. We had a full day with three snorkel stops and they were all beautiful. The fish were abundant and the coral was exquisite. The ride out is a bit choppy but you can buy...More

This was an unforgettable day at the reef. Not only did I feel completely safe, and had the best of three different reef experiences, I left this day with a much deeper understanding of the reef, it’s health and it’s majesty. This company and its...More

Lovely day out on the barrier reef, good bit of education too! Staff were very knowledgeable and there to answer questions and give help. Expected more vibrant colours, but all was explained. Inner reef revealed itself above water on the final dive as the tide...More

Went with Wavelength 4. Great boat, great crew and great sites! What makes the difference on this tour is that the crew are marine biologists. On the way to the reef and between the sites, we learned so much about the reef and the fish....More

We did the full-day snorkel on the smaller boat. We saw humpback whales, turtles, rays, and of course heaps of fish. Being on the smaller boat with only 30 guests allowed us to do a drift snorkel which was very cool. Glad we picked this...More

We selected Wavelength because it is snorkeling only and the boat is relatively small and we were not disappointed. We had a great day on the reef with the friendly and professional crew. On our way to and from the reef we enjoyed the informative...More

A fantastic day trip out to the reef. Knowledgeable staff who shared their knowledge. Cake and tea after each of the three dives. Great lunch. Wonderful reef and coral and heaps of spectacular fish. Relatively small group so plenty of space in the water and...More

Friendly staff and smaller group made this trip exceptional! The information given was interesting and enough to learn about the reef. The equipment was good. The food was good basic energy food, just what you needed after snorkeling.

Not too many people or too crowded with highly qualified (Marine Biologists) and friendly staff. Stopped at 3 different but great reefs. Food offer could be a bit better but not a big issue for me.

The outer reef tour IMO is not the trip with an infant or small child. The trip to the closer island may work as it is only 30 min. by boat and you have access to land. The outer reef trips there is no land--only the boat... More

A lot of the charters have noodles available for floating on instead of life vests.
